Does home insurance cover leaks?
Yes, a Qantas Home Insurance policy covers your home and / or belongings for water damage caused by burst or leaking water pipes; as well as overflowing sinks, baths and appliances.
It’s important to keep in mind that you are not covered for anything that could be considered preventable through periodic maintenance and repairs. For example, damage or leaks resulting from normal wear and tear.
