My premiums only just increased in October, why am I receiving an increase again?
In 2023, we made the decision to defer our 1 April 2023 premium increase for six months until 1 October 2023.
This was our third annual price increase deferral as part of our continued support for members, due to the continued slow pace of claims, which remained below pre-COVID levels for hospital treatment, and our continued focus on affordability of private health insurance for members.
Given the return of claims activity to pre-COVID levels, as well as the increasing cost of medical treatment and services, we do not anticipate any further premium deferrals.
